Our next Program Practice will be on January 31, from 9:30-11:00 at the high school. Immedietely following the practice, the Varsity team will be taking 100 shots for our "Frees and Threes" fund raiser to support the Boys Basketball Program. The money raised will go towards the basketball banquet as well as equipment and other program needs. Please show your support to the program by donating a pledge to a Varsity player. I pasted the sheet that further explains our fund raiser.
FREES AND THREES
What: A fund raising event to help support the HHS Boys Basketball Program to purchase equipment and supplement other program needs.
Who: The Boys Varsity Basketball Team
When: Saturday, January 31. 11:00-12:00
Where: Holliston High School
Your Job: Using the attached pledge sheet, solicit pledges from friends, neighbors, relatives, etc. Ask people you know to pledge money to support you in helping the Boys Basketball Program. People can pledge by the shot made, a total amount or a combination of both (e.g. People could pledge a quarter per free throw made, 50 cents per 3 pointer, a total of $10, or whichever is the greater amount.)
You will take and record 100 shots (75 Free Throws and 25 3 point shots) on Saturday January 31. After completing the shooting, you will need to contact the people who pledged money, collect the money, and return the contributions to Coach Santos.
Prizes will be given to the player who brings in the most donations and to the player who scores the most points.
